I'm a poet, beat-smith and multimedia performer.
I've been writing and performing for 8 years all over London and the UK. I like to work with film, music and live looping.
I've performed at quite a lot of venues including: The Poet's Lounge, The Etcetera Theatre, Farrago Poetry, Writer's block, The Roundhouse, The Poetry Cafe, The Albany Theatre and The Soho Theatre.
I have taken two shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and also produced shows for the Camden Fringe, Synergy at London Bridge and The Big Dress festival.
I have performed with 'Apples and Snakes', the 'London Poetry System' and I won a 'Farrago Poetry' Slam.
Stopha also studies at London South Bank University where he is researching New Media and Collaborative poetry. He is trying to get something off the ground called
The Really HUGE Poetry Project which is an attempt at a huge collaborative poem that you and anyone else can contribute to. Follow the link, pick a subject, or create a new one, and add some thoughts.
Watch ya. I'm Will Stopha.
I like story telling, song singing, learning, listening and rhyming. I like to collaborate, ask questions, interpret, think, reflect, consider and change.
I like to imagine.
